Xt for your time

I'm have ordered a gasket headbolt set and a waterpump timing belt ect, set. After I basically do a head up rebuild, the car shall feel pristine. Which would be the best time to sell it, so im thinking i could get $3000 if Im reeeaally lucky.

So whats rwd and manual for $2500? Im thinking a muscle car or something easy to work on/cheap parts that isnt a Ford. Thoughts? Opinions?

RWD and manual for 2500? V6 mustang and camaro. Anything with a V8 will be really ratty for 2500 unless you get EXTREMELY lucky. Even miatas in that price bracket are kinda nuggety.

Fords are not an option. Also ratty dosent matter it will see daily off road use and get destroyed anyway.

I actually just removed the C4 from that list because I don't know if they are that easy to work on and I found just one for $2500.

You probably could get some parts from junkyards fairly cheaply.

Early C4s are nightmares to work on. Don't bother.

Oh in that case, old S10 or ranger? Maybe get a mazda B2000 (ranger clone) or something like that? I know you don't like fords but you're cuttin your already limited options down and ford trucks are different than their cars.

theres a 76 nova coupe w/ v8 for $2500

I have plenty of options in this bracket but a truck wont work for learning because trucks flip. Thanks for the thoughts though.
